HYGIENE
The Law stipulates that a washing method must be provided. A normal bar of soap tends to become damaged and dirty and employees are reluctant to makes use of it. Normal hand pump soaps tend to disappear and work out more costly over time as the companies have to continuously replace them. The Dispenser Method is more effective, as it cannot be removed, is most hygienic and gives the ablution a professional and sophisticated appearance.
The Law for Drying Methods was amended as of August 2004, in the Health and Safety Act, 1993. The Law specifies that; each employee needs to be provided with their own towel for their sole use, or a paper towel dispenser or a warm air dryer. When a toilet flushes, there is a minuscule spray of water that sprays out that is not seen by the human eye. Combined with the water are tiny bacteria molecules. Every one of these bacteria molecules that have splashed on the toilet seat and around the toilet will multiply to 15 million in 8 and a half hours.
The Digital Sanitiser System delivers a concentrated cleaning and sanitizing formulation into the urinal and toilet bowls, whilst neutralizing malodors.
The Airoma is an effective system which automatically releases various fragrances in a programmed time frame.
In the past, problems in units that were installed, could only be detected if the fragrance was not evident and the client had no way of knowing whether the units were actually working. The Airoma is programmed with an alarm, to advise the client of any malfunction within the unit. This assists in making the ablution facility a more pleasant environment.
Sanitary towel disposal units, which fit in all cubicles, are designed to ensure that maximum hygiene is maintained. We remove the contents discretely and disinfect each unit with an antibacterial wiping system; thereafter we dispose of the contents responsibly, through incineration. The Occupational Health and Safety Act, 1993 specifies that no employer shall place and employee in a risk situation that can threaten the health and safety of that person.
The Environmental and Waste Disposal Acts, stipulate that no substance may be placed in the normal waste that can be harmful to the environment or that may contain diseases which poses a risk of spreading to the community. The risk of spreading to the community is a result of people digging through waste disposal sites. We have a wide variety of hygiene products to ensure a 100% hygienic environment.

It takes 4 flushes for faucal matter to be removed from the pipes. When the toilet is flushed and drops of water are found on the toilet seat, we are prone to infection by sitting on this excrement. Should anyone be infected by Gastro, a Urine Tract Infection, Ear, Nose or Throat Infection, Hepatitis or Yellow Jaundice, these bacteria will combine with the water and splash on the toilet seat.
Any other colleague who may then use the toilet within a 4 and a half hour period after the water has collected the bacteria and splashed on the toilet seat and have the slightest of abrasion’s on their skin, they are highly likely to contract the same disease and cost the company money through absenteeism. A hard, inner crust is formed inside the pipes and the water flow will be affected and after 30 years the pipes begin to corrode.
Have you had the unpleasant experience of walking into a toilet facility and being choked by the odor? This is caused by urine crystals that have built up in the urinal pipes. Daily cleaners are not trained professionals on deep cleaning and it takes approximately 15 minutes per unit, which detracts from their time in completing their job specifications. Deep cleaning can be done on a 3 monthly, payable monthly or a monthly cycle. This depends on the amount of people utilising the facilities and the extent of the odors.
